We've collectively decided to become a 3-piece band, in order to accomplish what we have set out to accomplish this year. Recently, we were scouted by an A&R of the Hitt Music Group (located in CA). The organization has already managed to place "Letters", "Jekyl & Hyde", and "One More Saturday Night" into two feature films from Warner Brothers and also two indie films. And other bands we contacted that are a part of the Hitt Music Group community have publishing licenses with MTV, have landed indie film deals and have been featured on radio stations! We have only heard very good things about this company and decided to join it! Since we are now a member, our music will be submitted for film/commercials and across the U.S. to college radio stations and there are even possibilities of landing a label deal! This is only the tip of the ice berg still! But since we are new to it it will still take time to reach these goals! We are very excited to start working with the staff of HMG! Similarly to Lisa before, she had to leave us due to personal issues. This was a large portion as to why we have been unable to perform during the summer, however it is not entirely her fault. She will continue to be a "part" of the band by helping in any means she can. And we will miss her. We would like to welcome Cailyn, our bassist! We (Cola and Cailyn) were childhood friends and have been in many bands together (when we were much younger). This helped make the transition simple for us and will enable us to continue on our schedule for the summer (i.e. recording, merch...etc.). We have a lot of stuff in the works and we hope to be able to complete most of it by the summers end. This includes merch ideas, recording, photo shoot, new website, and maybe if we can afford it a professional music video. The first thing we have worked on is T-shirt ideas. We came up with this crazy idea and were wondering if you would be interested in something like this. We thought it would be cooler if instead of paying for t-shirts to be printed (and each being exactly the same) we could make them more personal by making 'custom' shirts. Each shirt would include our new logo (unlike the pic above) and obviously you would get to decide what colors are used, what color shirt and then we will add our own little flare to each shirt. The pic above (of the green shirt) is a sample. The design probably will not be used (unless you like it). The letters are the only thing stenciled in. Now I am sure you all are wondering about the quality of the art as well as how durable/how long the logo designs would last. Right now we are experimenting with the idea and WILL NOT do this if the designs eventually come off in the wash or if the quality of the designs are nothing special. We figured before spending a lot of money on supplies we would see if you, our fans would be interested. Give us your input, feedback...etc. Also no prices are available yet. Thanks for your support! We have A LOT of exciting updates for both you and us!! **New Drummer** First and foremost, we parted ways with Viveca (who replaced Lisa) and have FINALLY found a drummer whose style and personality fits with ours! Her name is Megan and she is a talented drummer (Pictures are up!)! She will be performing our next show (on Feb 23rd in Delran, NJ) with us so come out and meet her- this is also Kristen's BIRTHDAY show!! We are not satisfied with the quality of the recordings we have had up for a while. Unfortanetly when we went to record we paid an extremely high price for very low quality recordings. I know we announced this a while ago but due to the drummer changes we had been unable to start recording. So we are packing our bags and heading to sunny FLORIDA to record our debut 5 song demo (we were supposed to release something over the summer but due to the quality of the recordings we felt it wasn't worth ours or your money). American Halo recently parted ways with former drummer, Lisa Berrios. Lisa and the band came to a mutual agreement that would benefit both parties. We wish Lisa luck on her journey and still remain close friends with her. Our new drummer is Viveca Butler, former drummer from the band Dayglow.
